Quick Review of RIU Dunamar

Riu Dunamar was the resort that we stayed at during the trip. It was located in Quintana Roo on the Costa Muejeres beach. This hotel was opened in December of 2017, so everything is new.

Is it good for kids? I don’t remember seeing a dedicated children’s area but they do have some water slides. It might also be something that is coming in the future.

How was the food?

If I’m being honest, the best thing I ate was carnitas tacos at lunch my first day. After that everything I had was just ok. It wasn’t disgusting, I wouldn’t starve, but not that great.

Entertainment?

So I was kept pretty busy on the trip and didn’t have a lot of free time, but the stuff I saw seemed really nice.

Who would like this resort? All though this was the newest resort we toured, it had the least amount of character, with that said this would be a good resort for the budget conscious traveler with children who would enjoy the waterslides. It would be good someone who wants to get away with all inclusive, but are not hung up on it being the nicest resort.
