Paint a Scarf Alaska

Writer's picture: Sara ChristopherSara Christopher

I recently took a trip to Anchorage, Alaska to experience some popular activities in the Anchorage area. When I received the Itinerary( before the trip) I saw that we were visiting a place called Paint-a-scarf. Now to be honest I wasn’t expecting much from the activity. I was pleasantly surprised. Paint-a-scarf was amazing. Even if you are not artistic, you could easily create a beautiful scarf. Before painting you watch a short video showing the different options of scarfs and then are given a sheet with step by step instructions. We experienced the paint a scarf premium, so we painted at the log cabin. It was a beautiful day, so there was the option to paint indoors or at the beautiful creek out back, surrounded by nature. They also provided snacks and coffee. it was so easy and in the end you have an amazing keepsake that you can hang in your house or even wear. This is a great activity to do if you are in the Anchorage area.
